Are you looking for some free stock photos to use on your website or blog? If so, you're in luck! This post is a roundup of some of the best free stock photo websites out there. Whether you're looking for scenic landscapes, people in action, or just everyday objects, these websites have you covered. Take a look and see which one works best for your needs!

7 free stock photo sites for your online business 2022 | Pin Image

Pexels

Pexels is a go-to for many bloggers – and with good reason. The photos are high-quality, visually appealing, and require no login or subscription to use. When you download a file, Pexels will prompt you to offer a small donation to the creator – which is totally optional. (As a creator myself, I encourage you to offer this small token of thanks from time to time.)

Pexels search feature makes finding the images you want super simple. You won’t be endlessly scrolling through albums looking for something to match what you need. You can simply search for it and be presented with dozens of high-quality options.

Pexels also offers free stock videos.

Unsplash

Comparable to Pexels, Unsplash is another great resource. Unsplash also has a search feature making finding your perfect image a breeze. This site also has a category lineup at the top you can quickly find images in popular categories – including current events which can be incredibly useful.

Vecteezy

You do not have to sign up for Vecteezy, but it does make the experience overall a whole lot better – and creating an account is free. Vecteezy offers both free and paid images, but you can filter them on the left hand side if you only wish to see the free options.

Vecteezy has options for photos and vector images. If you have any graphic experience, you’ll appreciate these vector graphics for their high quality and ability to be edited using a vector editing software such as Adobe Illustrator.

Pixabay

Pixabay hosts a massive online image library. You’ll find this site is more catered towards business than both Pexels and Unsplash. If you’re in the corporate space (or serve those in the corporate space), this is a great option. If you’re looking for a more lifestyle vibe, you’ll find a few options here, but the previous listed resources will serve you best.

RawPixel

RawPixel is another great site with searchable content that skews towards a business and corporate vibe. While you can simply copy and paste the images from the site, you’ll need to create a free account to download the high quality files.

As an added bonus, when you create an account, you’ll also be able to download free PNG files, which are those with transparent backgrounds. You’ll find both paid and premium assets on this site, but there are filtering tools that can help you find the free images with ease.

Canva

I cannot go without mentioning Canva. While by no means is it new, it’s often forgotten about when listing great stock image sites. If you’re looking for stock images to use for Social Media such Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram, Canva is a great option that not only lets you access the stock images, but also allows you to customize them to match your brand.

Canva also offers templates for common marketing materials such as email banners, flyers, business cards, and even logos.

Canva offers both a free and pro version – and while the pro version has TONS of additional features, the free version is still and incredible resource.

Freepik

Last, but not least, Freepik. Freepik has the same searchable features as the previous mentioned resources. If you’re super creative with some knowledge in photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, you’ll love the large selection of free fonts, PSD mockups, and vector images that can be found here as well.

You’ll find both free and premium options, but again, they are easy to sort and filter so that you only see the free options if you don’t wish to pay for a premium account.

If you’re not savvy in the design space – Freepik also offers traditional stock photos for you to use on your website or blog.

----------

Good design and photography are essential for making a strong first impression. But unless you're a professional photographer or graphic designer, it can be tough to create marketing materials that look good. If you're a business owner, blogger, or marketer, stock photos are a lifesaver. With a few clicks, you can find high-quality photos that will make your marketing materials pop. And that means more people will stick around long enough to learn about your product or service.
