The Power of Manifestation

If we are going to talk about intuition, you need to know how powerful you really are. You can manifest whatever life you want.

If your background in the corporate space, you know that in the corporate world, we are generally taught to rely on logic instead of following our gut instinct. But by embracing both our minds and hearts – and using our intuition to guide us – we open ourselves up to new opportunities and experiences that were previously outside our reach.

When you're an entrepreneur, you truly get to manifest whatever life you want for yourself. You have the power to create your own destiny, and there's no limit to what you can achieve if you put your mind to it. The only thing capable of holding you back - is yourself.

Challenges for Women in Sales:

There are a number of reasons why women may dislike sales. Some believe that selling is inherently gross or spammy, perhaps associating it with unscrupulous marketing tactics or aggressive cold-calling sales professionals. Others may feel that they simply aren't "salesy" enough to be successful, assuming that they lack the natural ability to convince others to buy. And still others may view sales as a challenging, competitive field, and thus one in which men tend to excel more than women.

It all comes down to creating a belief based on the story women are telling themselves. But these are limiting beliefs. And if this is you - then you are keeping yourself stuck. See, because when you believe sales is hard – it will be hard. When you believe that no one will buy from you – no one will buy from you.

Shannon’s mission is to change these stories that women are constantly telling themselves. The power to do so lies within us - all we have to do is tap into it.

Why Women are Excellent in Sales:

When it comes to sales, many people think that women are simply not cut out for the job. This misconception stems largely from a stereotype that portrays women as being soft and ineffective when it comes to negotiation and deal-making. But in reality, there are a number of factors that make women uniquely great at sales.

Women are naturally gifted connectors. As nurturers by nature, women tend to have an uncanny ability to listen empathetically and understand what other people need, want, or desire. This skill makes them incredibly skilled at building relationships with potential clients, which often forms the foundation of any successful sales strategy.

Women are fantastic listeners. When it comes to sales, 80% of your conversation should be you listening to the person on the other end - making them feel seen, heard, and understood. You should only spend about 20% of your time doing any of the talking.

Beyond this, research shows that women have higher emotional intelligence than their male counterparts; they tend to rank higher in empathy and self-awareness—two traits which make them especially effective communicators when working with clients on important decisions.

For all of these reasons and more, it becomes clear that women are actually some of the best salespeople around!

How Women Can Improve Their Sales Skills:

The first step towards improving one's sales abilities is to gain a thorough understanding of the sales process. Once you know the process and understand it inside and out – it becomes easier. Additionally, by fully understanding the ins and outs of the sales process, women can be more creative and intuitive in their interactions with potential clients. Sales, like most things, is a learnable skill that simply takes practice.

Another key way for women to improve their sales abilities is by viewing each client as a human being rather than a transaction. By approaching every client interaction with empathy and compassion, we open ourselves up to greater success in our roles as sales professionals. When we see the other person as a human vs a transaction, the game changes.

Finally, use social media to watch and listen to what is going on in the world of your people. Then, use your intuition to know when to pull people back into a conversation. At the end of the day - know this: Any woman can become a confident and successful sales professional!

Appeal to the Emotion:

People buy based on emotion and then use logic to justify their decision. This is because people are inherently emotional creatures, driven by the feelings and desires that arise from within us. And when it comes to buying products or services, many people feel a powerful impulse to connect with the seller on an emotional level. They want to be understood and seen, and they look to a product or service as a way of achieving this feeling.

ROI is the logical reason someone will buy from you – you need to dig in and find the emotional reason. To truly engage with your customers and convey your value proposition, you need to tap into the same emotions that drive them – whether it's fear, excitement, or hope. By telling your story in an authentic way and appealing to their emotions, you can create a compelling case for why they should choose your brand over all others.

Ultimately, this is what will bring them back again and again – because at the end of the day, we all want to feel seen, heard, and understood. And when we do this with our prospects through caring salesmanship and sincere connection, there is no limit to what we can achieve together.

A Numbers Game Vs a People Game:

Sales is often thought of as a numbers game – the more people you talk to, the more money you will make. And while this is certainly true, it's important to remember that being successful in sales also requires developing strong relationships with your clients. After all, you can't truly connect with someone if you only see them as a number or a means to an end. Rather than just trying to "seal the deal" at any cost, sales professionals need to focus on building connections and treating their clients like real people. By taking the time to listen, empathize, and genuinely engage with their customers, sales professionals are able to cultivate trust and forge lasting relationships – ultimately leading to more sales and greater success. So whether you're just starting out in sales or have been at it for years, remember that relationships really do = sales!

Intuition is a powerful tool that all sales professionals should utilize. It's what allows us to read people and understand their needs, and by doing so we can create a connection with them that leads to greater success. Intuition also helps us know when to push or pull back in a conversation, and it gives us the insight we need to close more sales. So if you're a woman running a business looking for a way to increase your sales numbers, start tapping into your hidden super power: your intuition.
